Principal Idea

The Editor allows the user to edit the EDI file manually on the text Editor and automatically, by a scheduler or script. It has the capability to integrate with any scheduler to allow for automated processing.

The program will work through a directory of files, run a compliance check and generate an error report for each individual EDI file.

The process can also be started from the desktop.

If a directory or folder is opened from the menu or task bar icon, the program will go through this directory and process every file. The files will not be displayed in the editor. The program runs in the background.

The program can sort the files into a folder of passed files and a folder of rejected files.

This process is multi-threaded to take better advantage of the processors.
